190220 Went to the Dora Marr exhibition at Tate Modern for some inspiration for my FMP subject.

REFLECTION

-I thought that the art was very pretty

-Dora Marr being influenced by her political views made me think if I needed my inspiration to come from that as ell

-But then again, I don't want my work to be entered around that because I think it'll hinge my originality

-Where is my inspiration coming from in my everyday works:

-Life

-Problems that I come across in my life

-relationships with things, ideas, and people

-She was very experimental with her work, and seeing her experiments being exhibited as a legit piece of work in this gallery made me think that I should keep my experiments as well

-I liked how connected her personal life and art was. I could see her in the artwork she made and I want my work to show ME as well

-I think her moving around a lot in her life gave her introductions to the artwork she made maybe my moving to London gave me inspiration as well, I'll try to look back on my journals and see if I noticed anything as well
