What are physical means of communication:
-blend print and digital for greater results
-marketing info from printed sources rather than marketing emails
(UAL printed calendar? probably already have that)
-Pokemon Go augmented reality through camera lens of phone
-different from virtual reality where the place takes place in artificial environments
-flyer/AR printed info+cover the demerit of not being able to play a video, buy tickets, invite friends
-AR makes physical information mote effective
Change my next topic:
Looking at phone too much→UAL social needs to host more events and advertise them, I want to socialise more please
Q1: UAL Social is there a lack of events? Check reviews as well.
Q2: Why do BA students go to the parties compared to foundation
Q3: What was fresher's week for?
Subject 1: Socializing in UAL
PRIMARY RESEARCH
University of Arts has a relatively low rating from its students regarding its social factor.
Spending winter break in London, I was dependent on events held by UAL to socialise with people and make new friends. I attended the UAL Social Christmas Party, which was organised poorly, and that was the only UAL held party.
What about the topic irritates me?
Not being able to socialise during break, it was very very hard on my mental health. Being so far away from home while being surrounded by the festivity was pressure to me. That is why I was very dependent on the school to organise events. But, either the information came late, or there were very little events in the first place.
What changes do you want to see?
I want to see UAL hold more events at a steady pace, for example once a month. I want events that range in scale, small to large. I want societies to hold more events as well.
What are the possible reasons for this?
Too busy? Not much budget?
MAYBE INTERVIEW SOCIAL REP, UAL SOCIAL TO FIND OUT
Why does this need to be changed?
It will give more chances for connection for students. It's more fun. It'll give better reputation. Not just an art university, give a range if experience.
Advantage/disadvantage
AD
-more fun
-more connecting
-more wider range of experience at an art university
DIS

-take more effort
Who are you trying to influence?
-studnets
-facilitators
